In many American movies, there’s always some lake or waterfall that’s like a hot spot for teenagers. Everyone has a great time and it all seems really fun… Till you realise there’s no toilet or food.

We’ve got the solution to both problems: Cafes with a pool. Genius, isn’t it?

Nothing could be more perfect for hanging out with your friends. I don’t know about you, but I could stay there all day with mine, taking turns somersaulting into the pool and chilling with some drinks.

If you promise not to share it with the grown ups… Here are ten of the best spots in and around Bangkok.

While the pool’s not for swimming, you can feed the fishes in there. But if your friends are anything like mine – you should bring along a change of clothes, you know, just in case.

The food’s great for the price. Cakes come with a fruit of your choice – and their Spinach Cheese is so sinful for such a healthy dish and absolutely amazing!

Everyone’s heard of The Rome (#6 on this list) so come meet its concept twin. Where it lacks in majestic architecture, it makes up for being fun and spontaneous.

They serve a variety of comfort food and fresh shellfish. But it’s their drinks that make everything so much more enjoyable.

Will you just look at that huge glass with three Coronas. They have other in-house specialities that are just begging to be sampled.

3. You don’t have to fly all the way to Europe for grand views and a good night  – The Rome

Suit up in your best and head to Bangkok’s mini Rome, with white pillars and dining areas set in water. The statuettes are actual stone and not made out of papier mache.

Photo Via Nickson_wei, Jah_sloth

While you don’t have to take a flight, it is a little out of the way. There are no public transportation you can take unless you want to try navigating the bus routes which we do not recommend as they are very complicated.

Plus, you won’t be able to swim in the pool. It’s more for show than play. But if you’re really want that next level picture without the hefty price tag of going to actual Rome, it’s the place to be.

They serve Thai food, despite its European designs, and it’s said to be quite good. Thai food at the Colosseum, now that’s something you don’t get to experience everyday.

There’s a shallow pool round the center of the restaurant, and it comes equipped with a slide. Although, it looks like it’s meant for kids. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying yourselves.

Photo Via Motherlurka

It’s a good place to hang out if you’re not too bothered by kids, because it’s quite popular with young families. (If you’re a friend group with kids, it’s also a great place for a group family hang!)

Rooftop bars are amazing, but it gets pretty boring after a while, looking at the same skyline and drinking the same drinks.

Nothing says living in the moment than a good splash with your friends when you’re mildly intoxicated. (However, we want to remind you not drink too much as that could get dangerous.)

Make sure you bookmark this list or share it with your friends. It’ll definitely come in handy the next time you’re around and looking for a good time. Or simply, a nice place to kick back with your crew.
