Museum in Bangkok, Thailand

The palace of a Prince and Princess – Suan Pakkad Palace

For the couples with an interest in history, but hate the idea of travelling far – you’ll love that this palace/museum is only a 5min walk from Phaya Thai BTS. (This means it’s super near Pratunam! #thankgod)

Established in 1952, it gives you a close look at olden day Thailand with 8 traditional Thai houses filled with fine art, antiques and oddities.

From rare and super antique musical instruments, to weapons, drawings, silverware and more – the items in this palace indirectly share the story of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess Chumbhot who used to live here.

PS: It’s great for a simple and fun day of strolling around ‘olden Thailand’!
