Stroll around a beautiful palace – Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall

What better way to make your partner feel like the royal they are, then by bringing them on a stroll around a beautiful palace?

Enter Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, not only is it a gorgeous backdrop for those OOTDs and incredibly photogenic couple photos – it’s also a great place to take in some culture.

The palace which was established in 1915, now doubles as a space for state occasions, as well as a museum! It holds permanent exhibitions showing Thailand’s national artists’ work, so not only do you get to take beautiful photos, you’ll get to take in beautiful art too.

PS: This is royal property and a strict dress code is required. No slippers, shorts, sleeveless shirts or T-shirts are allowed. (You’ll be taking photos at a legitimate palace anyway, so why not dress the part!)

PPS: You know how in Korean dramas, there’s always that one date the lead actors go on – where they pedal in water bikes on the river, and look like they’re having a ton of fun and sweet moments? Well, you can do that at Dusit Zoo which is just alongside the palace!

You might want to consider combining a visit to the palace with a visit to Dusit Zoo. There’s a 7-11 and KFC within the zoo, and tickets to the zoo are 150 Baht per person too!
