If you’re in Bangkok with the kids, it’s worth a trip down to Cafe Farm (บ้าน๑,๐๐๐ไม้cafe’&farm) where you get to not just eat, but explore and play too.
Is it a cafe? Is it a farm? Cafe Farm is both. Farm meets cafe in this quaint space in Bangkok – and it’s also a place where entertainment meets education.
From learning how to make century eggs, farming rice and making pottery to learning about animals, there’s much to do here.

1. No kid can resist a good – Treehouse and Swing!
If your kids still have the energy after a fun day at this cafe/farm, they won’t be able to resist playing at the treehouse and swing. This means a break for the awesome (and tired) parents, while the kids get in the last bit of fun for the day.
2. Be a farmer for a day! – Farming
Whether it’s the kids or the adults, the farming experience at Farm Cafe can be fun and enlightening for both. You’ll get to learn how to make century eggs, plant rice, see how crops are grown and harvested, and more!
PS: Teach your kids the importance of water by introducing them to the well. It makes a great story about how people used to get water – and how we’re so fortunate to be able to get water simply by turning on a tap.
3. Who can resist cute baby ducklings?! – Animals
Cafe Farm has a whole host of farm animals waiting. From duckling to sheep and parrokeets to fluffy chickens, the kids will have a ball of a time interacting with the animals.
4. There’s a water activity here too? – Canoe
If you’re up for more fun, feel free to get into a canoe and row away on the pond. It’s especially great for hyperactive kids who just need to be entertained – and it makes a great bonding session too.
5. Time to be creative! – Pottery
If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at pottery, how about a small pottery session here? Your kids will learn how to mold and make their own little sculptures (great for their motor skills), and you’ll be able to have fun together indulging in some creative time.
6. Finally feeling hungry? Head over to the – Cafe
There are various spots for you to settle down at to eat. Whether it’s the outdoor area outside the cafe, little huts around the farm, or in the quaint barn cafe… Take your pick!
From salads to meatballs to pastries, cakes and more. The menu is simple but filling. There’s also a bakery in the cafe where you can find freshly baked goods too.
7. Quirky farm shop with organic produce – Green Market
Bananas, melons, plants and more, bring your kids over to the Green Market to get some yummy fruits! It’s a quaint farm shop that’s worth some photos too. Over on the other side, there’s a floating bamboo raft with huge cushions to lay back and recline on after a fun day out!
This cafe with a farm concept is one of the first we’ve ever seen, and it begs to be visited – especially if you have a little family. Let us know if you’re there and please share photos!!
