1. The best secret beach in all of Phuket – Hua Beach
In our humble opinion, Hua Beach is the best beach we’ve found in Phuket!
To reach the beach, you’ll have to drive through lush greenery to get to this secluded spot. The best part? There’s hardly anyone here, and it’s a mere 17 minute drive from Patong Beach!
If you’re worried about meals, you can choose to dine at the simple restaurant here, or head back to Patong for your favourite restaurant.
2. Watch the planes take off and meet buffaloes too! – Nai Yang Beach
Nai Yang Beach is located very near the airport and makes for a great viewpoint.
If you’re looking to relax by the beach while staying safely under shade, you might be happy to know there are many trees here for you to settle under and away from the sun.
Also, you might get to see some buffaloes here too! Do be careful not to get too close to them but feel free to get some fun vacation photos here.

3. The beach only locals know about – Siray Beach
It’s so hidden, it seems only locals know about this beach! Getting here itself is a proper journey that will take you off the main road, onto a windy road boasting lush greenery.
You’ll also get to pass a couple of abandoned houses which makes great backdrops for your Instagram photos!
Once you arrive, you’ll find that the beach is relatively clean and it definitely is a peaceful discovery.
4. Clean waters and beach chairs to chill on – Banana Beach, Ban Layan
The first thing to note is to not confuse this Banana Beach with the other Banana Beach on Coral Island!
Ban Layan’s Banana Beach gives you more than you’d expect. To reach this beach, you’ll have to climb less than 100 steps down through the forest. While the trek down is pretty nice, you’ll definitely love it more down at Banana Beach!
Featuring clean waters and little people, there are even some beach chairs for the lazy beach-goer to lounge on.

6. Dine or play, have it your way – Ao Sane Beach
Featuring nice clear waters and a clean beachfront, Ao Sane Beach will make a great choice for those who’d like something a little secluded.
There’s even a local restaurant here, so you’ll be able to get something to eat when you’re hungry after a day on the beach.
PS: Do note that it’s quite rocky here, so be careful and watch where you step!

7. Up for an eerie thrill? – Laem Ka Beach
One for adventure seekers, Laem Ka Beach is a remote and deserted beach that might provide your thrill for the day.
Upon reaching, you’ll find that the beach has actually been blocked. You’ll have to park further down the road, then walk in.
As you’re walking in, you’ll see many abandoned huts and structures with “No Pictures” signs plastered around. It oozes eerie vibes and can be quite a thrill! Otherwise, the beach itself is good with clean sand and waters.

8. Clear blue waters – Laem Singh Beach
Clean and sparkling clear waters, colourful umbrellas and sun loungers…
Laem Singh Beach is for extreme relaxation and is extremely photogenic! It has fun rock formations perfect for basking in the sun, and great photos too.

9. Enjoy a day of beachy solitude – Mai Khao Beach
With its long stretch of white sand beach and blue as sky waters, we were surprised to see hardly anyone around.
If you’re looking to head up north of Phuket, Mai Khao Beach is one pleasant beach destination to check out!

10. Dig your toes into the sand and get comfortable – Nai Harn Beach
One of the less secluded (but definitely not crowded) beaches on our list, Nai Harn Beach is pretty decent for beach days in Phuket!
With many eateries, restaurants and drink stalls around, you can be sure to have your basic needs attended to.

11. Don’t miss the instagrammable beach swing! – Tritrang Beach
Tritrang Beach is a nice beach that’s slightly secluded with clean clear blue waters and an instagrammable beach swing!
