To reach the beach, you’ll have to drive through lush greenery to get to this secluded spot. The best part? There’s hardly anyone here, and it’s a mere 17 minute drive from Patong Beach!

If you’re worried about meals, you can choose to dine at the simple restaurant here, or head back to Patong for your favourite restaurant.

3. The beach only locals know about – Siray Beach

It’s so hidden, it seems only locals know about this beach! Getting here itself is a proper journey that will take you off the main road, onto a windy road boasting lush greenery.

The first thing to note is to not confuse this Banana Beach with the other Banana Beach on Coral Island!

Ban Layan’s Banana Beach gives you more than you’d expect. To reach this beach, you’ll have to climb less than 100 steps down through the forest. While the trek down is pretty nice, you’ll definitely love it more down at Banana Beach!

7. Up for an eerie thrill? – Laem Ka Beach

One for adventure seekers, Laem Ka Beach is a remote and deserted beach that might provide your thrill for the day.

Upon reaching, you’ll find that the beach has actually been blocked. You’ll have to park further down the road, then walk in.

As you’re walking in, you’ll see many abandoned huts and structures with “No Pictures” signs plastered around. It oozes eerie vibes and can be quite a thrill! Otherwise, the beach itself is good with clean sand and waters.
